UFC 210: Daniel Cormier Says Jon Jones “Better Not Come in my Cage” on Saturday

Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones have made headlines in the past, for having an unsanctioned ‘disagreement’, and the 205 champ’s warning his rival to stay out of the Octagon on Saturday.

On April 8th, Cormier will battle Anthony Johnson in the headliner of UFC 210, which will take place in Buffalo, New York. Recently it was reported that Jones will also be in the New York State city this weekend, and that he’ll be in attendance at UFC 210.

Well, considering all the bad blood between Jones and Cormier, of course, “DC’s” been fielding questions about his rival’s planned attendance. While discussing what might go down, however, if Jones hops into the Octagon after the headliner, Cormier said this (quote via MMA Fighting):

“He [Jones] better not come in my cage after I win,” Cormier said. “He’s not welcome in there, he’s still suspended. When he’s eligible to fight, then he can walk in the cage, but if he dares to step foot in that Octagon, something bad will happen.”

Whoa. Now, one would think that considering every thing that’s gone down beteen “DC” and “Bones”, the latter won’t be invited into the Octagon, if Cormier wins. You can bet, however, that cameras will be following the reaction of Jones, and that some words may be exchanged.

First things first, however, and that’s getting past the ridiculously dangerous Johnson. It’s going to be an interesting evening to say the least.
