The 135-pound tourney, which also includes recent winner Danny Tims, will crown Bellator’s first-event bantamweight champ when it begins in August.
Oshiro (12-2) comes to Bellator with a 12-2 overall record, including a perfect 3-0 mark in EliteXC. Both of his losses have come by decision, while he’s earned five knockout and six submission victories.
“I’m the kind of guy who wants to finish the fight as fast as possible,” Oshiro said in a release. “I’m not the kind of guy who’s gonna try to grind it out for three rounds.”
