Tyron Woodley Says he “Can’t Respect” GSP in Advance of Michael Bisping Fight

Tyron Woodley wanted to be the man who welcomed Georges St-Pierre back to the Octagon, but now that the latter’s set to fight Michael Bisping, he’s can’t respect the star’s decision.

Although no date has been set for the Bisping – GSP fight, the UFC has signed off on the bout and plans to hold it later this year. When the match-up was announced, it surprised more than a few people, since GSP has never fought at 185 in the UFC.

Well, Woodley recently spoke with TMZ, and the welterweight champ had this to say about GSP (quote via Bloody Elbow):

“He got away right before I got the chance to get my hands on him,” Woodley said. “And now you come back, and you don’t come back to your own weight class, man? I can’t really respect that.”

Woodley’s next fight, meanwhile, has yet to be determined.
