Vitor Belfort has said his June 3rd bout with Nate Marquardt will be his last in the Octagon, but the legendary fighter’s decided to change things up to prepare for the scrap.
Recently Tristar fighter Alex Garcia posted the image below, which shows Belfort in attendance at the famous, Montreal gym. In addition, MMA Junkie’s confirmed with Belfort’s team that he’s preparing for UFC 212 at Tristar. Not only that, but the camp’s head instructor, Firas Zahabi, will corner Belfort on June 3rd.
One could certainly conclude by this that the 40 year-old is taking this fight very seriously. Montreal’s a long ways from South Florida or Brazil.
