UFC 212: Max Holloway Overcomes Early Shots From Jose Aldo, Takes Out Star

Jose Aldo’s second reign as the UFC’s featherweight champ was ended tonight at UFC 212, as Max Holloway stopped the legendary fighter in round three.

Aldo tagged Holloway with some hard punches in the opening round, which appeared to stun the interim 145 champ. But, Holloway recovered, and in round two, he began to hit his targets.

In round three, Holloway dropped Aldo with a hard combo, and although the champ showed a ton of heart trying to recover, the fight was eventually stopped.
