Dana White Outlines Conor McGregor’s Plans For Floyd Mayweather Camp

Kelsey Mowatt

Conor McGregor has put together interesting camps, in different locations in the past, but it sounds like he’ll be staying in his native Ireland as he trains to box Floyd Mayweather.

Since it was announced that McGregor will throw hands with Mayweather on August 26th in Las Vegas, there’s been discussion as to how the Irish star will prepare for the bout. Well, Dana White was asked about McGregor’s camp during a media call, and here’s what the UFC President had to say (quote via MMA Mania):

“Conor McGregor is working with a bunch of guys over there in Ireland,” White said. “You know how he is about Ireland. Everybody thinks you gotta go here or there, because the best this and that. He’s like ‘We the Irish over here have our stuff together too,’ so he’s very serious about being Irish and keeping it all Irish.”

“Conor told me the McGregor clan has been taking over villages for 300 years,” White added. “And Floyd’s village is next.”

It’s going to be really interesting to see how media events unfold when McGregor and Mayweather are both in attendance….
