Dana White Guarantees Chuck Liddell is Done, Says Negotiations with Jake Shields Underway

UFC President Dana White has “guaranteed” that the hall of fame fighting career of former light heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell is over following his first-round knockout loss to Rich Franklin in the main event of Saturday’s UFC 115.

White also dismissed reports that James Toney hadn’t signed to fight Randy Couture, saying the bout is official for August’s UFC 118 in Boston, and confirmed that negotiations are underway with Jake Shields, but that a deal has yet to be reached with Strikeforce’s middleweight title-holder.
