The most recent installment of UFC Prelims on SpikeTV, the preliminary broadcast for Saturday’s UFC 115 drew in a peak of 1.5 million viewers, and averaged 1.3 million, according to numbers released Tuesday by SpikeTV.
The hour long block included live broadcasts of the controversial Matt Wiman vs. Mac Danzig fight, and Evan Dunham’s split decision victory over his training partner Tyson Griffin. During the program the UFC also aired Claude Patrick’s pre-recorded victory over Ricardo Funch.
Also of note, this edition of UFC prelims was the first of the series to be broadcast from an event outside of the US, and tied UFC 108 for the third highest viewership of the series.
