Tony Ferguson Jumps Into P4P Rankings Following UFC 216 Win

Tony Ferguson scored a pivotal win at UFC 216 on Saturday night, and following the win, “El Cucuy” has joined the UFC’s top 15, pound-for-pound ranks.

Ferguson submitted Kevin Lee with a third round, triangle-choke at the event, and took home the interim lightweight title. The victory was also Ferguson’s 10th straight.

Well, the promotion’s rankings have been updated, and Ferguson is now sitting in the #13 spot of the P4P ranks. In addition, Ferguson has moved past Khabib Nurmagomedov in the lightweight division, and is now the #1 contender.

Edson Barboza, who didn’t fight this past weekend, has moved past Eddie Alvarez and is now ranked #3 in the 155 division. Lee remains in the #7 spot.

The man who a lot of people want to see Ferguson fight next, Mr. Conor McGregor, is ranked #2 in the P4P bracket.
