Jose Aldo and Ricardo Lamas are going to battle again, as expected, as the UFC’s announced the two will square off on December 16th.

The featherweight bout will go down in the co-headliner of UFC on FOX 26, which will be hosted by Winnipeg, Manitoba’s MTS Centre.

Recently it was reported that the UFC was looking a Aldo – Lamas II, and that both men had agreed to the contest. Lamas faced Aldo in 2014, during the height of his run as the featherweight champ, and lost via decision. Lamas (18-5), however, has some momentum behind him as the rematch approaches, as he’s coming off finishes over Charles Oliveira and Jason Knight.

Aldo (26-3) will be looking to return to the win column, as he was taken out by Max Holloway in his last bout.

In addition to Aldo – Lamas II, the UFC’s confirmed that Mike Perry (11-1) will take on fellow, rising welterweight Santiago Ponzinibbio (25-3 ) at UFC on FOX 26.

Just recently, the UFC announced that the December 16th card will be headlined by a welterweight fight between Robbie Lawler and Ricardo Lamas.
