It looks like Vitor Belfort will kick off his 2018 campaign with a scrap against Uriah Hall.
The legendary fighter recently announced on Instagram that he’s signed a bout agreement to scrap Hall, on January 14th. The UFC, however, has yet to announce the fight, or an event for that day.
Belfort (26-13) is coming off a decision win over Nate Marquardt in June, which snapped a three fight, winless streak.
Hall (13-8), meanwhile, stopped Krzysztof Jotko in his last bout, after the highlight reel striker had lost three in a row.
So, assuming this bout is indeed happening, it’s certainly a nice addition to next year’s schedule.
I just signed my bout agreement for January 14th at UFC. I always looked for big challenges and in my last UFC fight it couldn’t be different… @uriahhall it’s a honor to share the cage with a such young and talented fighter. Thanks for accepting the fight!
