UFC FN 119: Derek Brunson Puts Away Lyoto Machida in The Opening Round

UFC Fight Night 119

Derek Brunson spoiled the return of Lyoto Machida tonight in quick and violent fashion, by putting away “The Dragon” in round one.

The middleweights fought in the headliner of UFC Fight Night 119, which took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil. During the fight’s opening moments, Machida threatened Brunson with some big left counters. But, Brunson proceeded to drop the former light-heavyweight champ with a left of his own, and then knocked the legend out with punches from above.
