Colby Covington is taking some heat for the comments he made, after he defeated Demian Maia on Saturday, but it seems pretty clear the welterweight isn’t going to walk them back.
After calling UFC Fight Night 119’s host city a “dump”, and referring to Brazilian fans as “filthy animals”, Covington defended his comments. Since then, the outspoken fighter has released the “formal apology” below:

On Saturday, UFC senior vice president David Shaw reported that the promotion is not “happy” about the fighter’s statements.
