The UFC’s December schedule has taken another serious hit, as Dominick Cruz is reportedly injured, and will no longer fight Jimmie Rivera next month.
The bantamweights were supposed to fight at UFC 219 on December 30th, but sources have informed MMA Fighting that Cruz has broken his arm. As this is being written, the UFC has not announced anything about the reported injury.
It’s another setback for Cruz, who has yet to fight in 2017, after losing the bantamweight title to Cody Garbrandt last December.
The news comes not long after it was reported that Frankie Edgar will no longer challenge featherweight champ, Max Holloway on December 2nd.
