Cris “Cyborg’s” Manager Claims Holly Holm is “Pricing Herself Out” of Fight With Champ

It looks like an expected clash between Holly Holm and Cris “Cyborg” Justino isn’t going to happen anytime soon, and according to the latter’s manager, it’s because Holm doesn’t truly want to fight.

Over the last couple of months, there’s been a lot of talk about Holm being the first challenger for Justino, after she won the featherweight title in July, by stopping Tonya Evinger. Recently, however, Holm’s manager told MMA Fighting that a proposed, December 30th fight is “dead”, since they can’t come to terms with the UFC.

Well, while discussing the failed negotiations, “Cyborg’s” manager, George Prajin, told MMA Junkie this:

“I would assume Holly doesn’t want to fight Cris,” Prajin said. “Holly is pricing herself out of the fight because she doesn’t want to fight her.”

Considering who Holm has fought in her career, it’s kind of hard to imagine that she’s actually ducking Justino, by asking for too much money. They’re likely looking for a big, big payday, since Holm is undersized for featherweight, and because she’s the best option for Justino right now.
