Conor McGregor took center stage at Bellator 187, for flipping out at the event’s officials and referee Marc Goddard, and the latter’s posted some interesting comments since.
If you haven’t heard, at the Dublin event, McGregor jumped the cage to congratulate his teammate Charlie Ward, after he won his bout. Sinec McGregor wasn’t a cornerman, however, officials, including referee Marc Goddard intervened. The UFC’s lightweight proceeded to lose it on Goddard, and he had to be restrained. Not only that, but TMZ obtained footage which appeared to show McGregor taking a swipe at a security guard.
Sinec all the madness went down, Goddard tweeted out the comment below:
I operate with integrity, belief and values.
I hold MMA in a deep rooted place in my life and have considered myself most fortunate to have done so for so long.
Family first. Everything else second.

As you may recall, at UFC Fight Night 118, Goddard had officials prevent McGregor from moving around the Octagon and coaching his teammate, Artem Lobov.
