Georges St-Pierre’s historic ride continues in November, as following the star’s championship win at UFC 217, he’s moved past Conor McGregor in the promotion’s pound-for-pound rankings.
GSP returned to the cage for the first time since 2013 earlier this month, and choked out Michael Bisping to become the middleweight champ. In doing so, he joined McGregor as one of four men who have won titles in two, UFC divisions.
Recently the latest UFC rankings went up, and the former welterweight champ is sitting in the #2 spot of the pound-for-pound rankings. McGregor, meanwhile, dropped a place and is now #3. Flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson is still holding down the #1 ranking.
What do you think? Should GSP be ahead of McGregor? The Canadian’s run in the UFC has certainly been much, much longer.
