Cheick Kongo has announced that he’ll meet fellow heavyweight Travis Browne at UFC 120, while undefeated welterweights John Hathaway and Dong Hyun Kim and light heavyweights Cyrille Diabate and Alexander Gustaffson are also set to square off at the October 16 event at London’s O2 Arena, according to MMAFighting.
Kongo (15-6-1) rebounded from back-to-back losses with a third-round stoppage of Paul Buentello in March, while Browne (10-0) remained unbeaten with a first-round TKO of James McSweeney in his UFC debut at June’s TUF 11 Finale.
Hathaway and Kim were last in action at May’s UFC 114, with Hathaway (14-0) earning a unanimous decision over Diego Sanchez for his fourth-straight UFC win, while Kim (13-0-1) picked up a unanimous decision over Amir Sadollah.
Diabate (17-6-1) scored a first-round TKO of Luiz Cane in his UFC debut at UFC 114 for his sixth-straight win, while Gustafsson (9-1) suffered a first-round submission to rising 205-pound Phil Davis at April’s UFC 112.
UFC 120 is currently topped by a matchup between welterweight contenders Dan Hardy and Carlos Condit.
