Following rumors and tabloid reports that Conor McGregor was recently involved in a bar fight, with a man that has connections to the mob, the star’s father has responded.
Recently there’s been a lot of talk on the internet, as to whether McGregor got in a bar fight in Dublin, with a man who has relatives in the Irish mob. Due to this, there are also rumors firing around that McGregor and his family could be in danger.
Well, recently the Irish Mirror spoke with McGregor’s father, Tony McGregor, who said the rumor is “absolute nonsense”.
“…It’s an absolute nonsense story.
“It’s grown legs and it’s getting that ridiculous – it’s become funny. We have nothing to fear here whatsoever. There’s no one after us for anything.
“We’re a law-abiding family and we’ve stayed a law-abiding family.”
All this has gone down a few weeks after McGregor had a highly publicized incident with officials, at Bellator 187. In terms of a fight in the Octagon, it remains to be seen when (if) and who McGregor will face next.
