Mike Pyle Replaces Injured Dong Hyun Kim, Meets John Hathaway at UFC 120

John HathawayAn undisclosed injury has forced Dong Hyun Kim off “UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama“, but veteran Mike Pyle has stepped in to meet undefeated English welterweight John Hathaway at the October 16 event at London’s O2 Arena, according to The Telegraph.

After beginning his UFC career in 2009 with three-straight wins over Thomas Egan, Rick Story, and Paul Taylor, Hathaway (14-0) scored the biggest win of his career when he improved to 14-0 with a unanimous decision over The Ultimate Fighter winner Diego Sanchez at UFC 114 in May.

Pyle (20-7-1) is 2-2 since debuting in the UFC last year, dropping bouts to Brock Larson and Jake Ellenberger while earning wins over Chris Wilson and Jesse Lennox in his most-recent fight at June’s UFC 115.

The UFC 120 fight card is headlined by Michael Bisping vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama and also includes Dan Hardy vs. Carlos Condit.
