Stefan Struve Signs Four-Fight Extension with UFC

Towering Dutch heavyweight Stefan Struve has signed a new four-fight contract extension with the UFC on the heels of rebounding with a decisive win at last month’s UFC 117, Alchemist Management announced today.

The 22-year-old 6’11” Struve (20-4) scored UFC 117’s “Knockout of the Night” over newcomer Christian Morecraft to bounce back from a 39-second loss to Roy Nelson in March.

Struve dropped his UFC debut to current heavyweight contender Junior dos Santos in early-2009 before closing out the year with three-straight wins over Dennis Stojnic, Chase Gormley, and Paul Buentello.

Struve has not yet been booked for his next fight.
