UFC’s Super Bowl Event on Feb. 5 Expected to be UFC 126

UFC middleweight champion Anderson SilvaThe UFC’s stacked Super Bowl weekend event on February 5 in Las Vegas is now expected to be UFC 126, according to MMAjunkie, after plans for a rumored late-January UFC card failed to take shape.

Though not yet official, the UFC 126 fight card is expected to be headlined by middleweight champion Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort and is also rumored to include Forrest Griffin vs. Rich Franklin, Jon Jones vs. Ryan Bader, and Kenny Florian vs. Evan Dunham.

UFC 126 follows a loaded UFC 125 fight card on New Years Day that’s topped by a rematch between lightweight champ Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard and also features Shane Carwin vs. Roy Nelson, Takanori Gomi vs. Clay Guida, and Nate Diaz vs. Dong Hyun Kim.
