Jesse Bongfeldt has replaced fellow Canadian Jason MacDonald and will make his UFC debut against middleweight Rafael Natal on the preliminary card of “UFC 124: St-Pierre vs. Koscheck 2” on Dec. 11 in Montreal.
Bongfeldt (21-7) has won 12 of his last 13 but hasn’t fought since scoring a 37-second submission win last September, while Natal (12-3) dropped his UFC debut to Rich Attonito in September following wins in 5 of his last 6 fights.
MacDonald (24-14) was slated to return from a broken leg which ended his May fight against John Salter at UFC 113 and snapped a three-fight win streak.
The UFC 124 fight card is headlined by a rematch between welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck.
