Dan Hardy vs. Anthony Johnson Likely for March, UFC Fight Night 24

Former top-contender Dan Hardy and heavy-handed Anthony Johnson have agreed to meet in a welterweight bout in March that will likely land on UFC Fight Night 24 on March 30 in Seattle, Washington, MMA Fighting reports.

Hardy (23-8) won seven-straight, including four UFC wins over the likes of Marcus Davis and Mike Swick, before falling to champ Georges St-Pierre in March and suffering a first-round knockout to Carlos Condit in his native England in October.

Johnson (8-3) earned “Fight of the Night” honors in a second-round submission loss to Josh Koscheck last November, but sat out all of 2010 with a knee injury that forced him out of a March matchup with John Howard.

The UFC Fight Night 24 card is headlined by Tito Ortiz vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
