Mike Guymon Retires, Tim Hague Released After UFC Fight for the Troops 2 Losses

After suffering losses at Saturday’s UFC Fight for the Troops 2 event, welterweight Mike “Joker” Guymon announced his retirement from MMA, while heavyweight Tim Hague was released by the promotion for the third time.

Guymon (12-5-1), a former King of the Cage champion, was submitted in the opening round by DaMarques Johnson for his second-straight loss to fall to 1-3 in the UFC, while Hague (12-5) was knocked out in the opening round by Matt Mitrione after earning a pair of wins outside the promotion, but has gone just 1-4 in the UFC.
