According to MMAJunkie, Strikeforce heavyweight Andrei Arlovski will not consider retiring following his fourth straight loss. Said Arlovski:
“First of all, I’m not going to finish my career like this. Definitely, I’m going to keep fighting, and I know it’s impossible to fix all these problems. Honestly, I don’t know why I keep losing.”
In three of those losses Arlovski was brutally knocked out, prompting some to wonder if his most recent loss to Sergei Kharitonov last Saturday night at “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva” marked the end of the road for the once-feared UFC heavyweight champion.
“The Pitbull”‘s losing streak began against Fedor Emelianenko in January 2009. That was followed up by a 22-second knockout loss to Brett Rogers in June of that year and a unanimous decision loss to Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in May of 2010.
Arlovski recently left for Moscow to revamp his training in hopes of ending his four fight skid.
