The UFC has announced that UFC Fight Night 13 “Kenny Florian vs. Joe Lauzon” has officially sold out. The twelve-fight Spike TV event, which was recently expanded to a three-hour broadcast, takes place on April 2nd at the Broomfield Event Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
More than 6,700 fans will be on hand for the event and millions more will tune in to the Spike TV broadcast.
UFC President Dana White thanked the fans in the press release announcing the sell out and three-hour broadcast:
“I knew that bringing the UFC back to the state of Colorado would be big. But thanks to our fight fans in Broomfield and Denver and all across Colorado, this is going to be one of our best UFC Fight Night events ever. Not only is it going to air as a three-hour special on Spike TV, it will also be a house packed with UFC fans ready for great fights. I’m looking forward to April 2, and can’t wait to bring this great fight card to Mile High City.”
The first bout will begin at 4:45pm ET with the six-fight televised card starting at 7pm. The premiere episode of “The Ultimate Fighter 7” will air at 10pm immediately following the main event bout between Joe Lauzon and Kenny Florian.
