Rumored March UFC Event Called Off

Though it was never officially announced, a long-rumored UFC event set for March 8th, which was originally to take place in England, has been called off. Fights previously scheduled for the event are in the process of being shifted to a number of upcoming UFC cards.
Houston Alexander versus James Irvin has been moved to UFC Fight Night 13 while a new card for Michael Bisping versus Charles McCarthy has not yet been confirmed though UFC 85 in London on June 14th is a likely possibility. A number of European fighters who had been signed for the canceled event are now likely to appear on the UFC 85 card as well.
