I hope he does stand and I hope he eats a huge punch from Leben that puts him to sleep!
I think Leban poses the worst threat to Bisping outside of A Silva. Michael has energy for days so the wrestlers aren’t going to wear him down, and he has a fairly good ground game, he’s able to get back up from a takedown pretty well. But Chris Leban has KO power and a solid chin. Chris doesn’t need to worry about out working Michael, just connecting. I’m pretty torn in this one but I think i’ll be picking Leban.

bisping is definitely faster than leben… but leben could be the hardest pound for pound puncher out there. not to mention his good chin. cant wait for this fight. tough to pick a winner cause i like both these guys. i’ll pick biggest blood bath of the year. how about that
I don’t feel Bisping standing and trying to bang with Leben is a good idea. In the clinch Bisping should be okay but not to stand and trade blows. We all know Leben has a nearly iron jaw. Hopefully they box it out and Bisping learns a lessson in bad game planning.

how in the hell are you going to tko leben in rnd 1 ? leben has the best jaw in the biz and after his losses is a new man.they say you learn more from loses then wins so he has learned alot since his last fight with silva.i think bisbing and silva is a great match but i dont know if he can get thru leben.either way we are lucky to get this match and this is one of the best mw fights i could ask for out of every mw in the world.i must admit that i would like to see cung fight a tuff opponient so i could rank him better.

ive wanted this fight for a while, looks at everything leben and his opponents(starnes) went through, this guy has a fire lit up his ass like noother and hes gonna see everything coming and be the first to the punch, 1st round knockout by leben after bisping lands maybe one and gets ****y and open.

I would also like to see drew mcfedries have some success so we can see him fight a leben or a bisbing. might not have the drawing power that this fight has but for the hardcore fans and a improved drew i think it would be a very exsplosive fight.okami is like a lyoto to me and i just dont like watching him fight or his personality after the hole acting bit against silva.it was almost as good as mir vs brock when his best friend mazzaduche bag boke them after the single strike to the back of the head.

It very intersting reading everyone opinion on a Bisping post. I was only a few short months ago that Bisping only had to blow his nose and these pages would be full of ‘Bispings Gay’ jibes and other derogatory comments. Of late however it seems the general consesus of opinion is changing somewhat toward The Count. As he dominance gains momentum with every fight more people are jumping on the Bisping bandwagon like flocks of sheep.
Myself & johnboy have been telling you jealous americans for over a year now…. BISPING RULES !! He is too fast & too powerful for any MW past or present. He will walk through that little punk Leben and any other MW the ufc puts in front of him. It is somewhat inevitable & just a matter of time before he is rightfully crowned the MW king.

Bisping is good. But he’s not great. He wont beat Franklin, Silva, Okami, Marquart, Leites, and I don’t think he’ll beat Leban, but I could be wrong on Chris. ….we’ll see

as for not seein my point, i think you misunderstood. i stated that I know bisping doesn’t have control over who and where he fights, my point is that until he gets into a position where he’s treated like everyone else, in addition to my grudge due to the hammil post fight, it’s hard to respect the guy.
i think he’s better than average at 185 but i can’t see him gettin a title shot for any other reason than he has drawing power in england. if he had to wait in line and they went by talent, i don’t think he’d even make the top 5. he’d need to beat at least 2 of the top mw’s to deserve a shot at gettin his ass beat by silva.

Bisping is the face of the company in Europe and this is a very tough fight.Personally I just wish things worked out better for Ross Pointon he seemed like a nicer individual.

ross pointon, i liked that guy too. i understand why bisping is the poster boy and ross isn’t, but that guys a badass. for all the praise dana gave him on the show, it seems like he didn’t pay him back for savin his ass when no one else would fight bisping. dunno if that was the ufc or pointon’s decsision but i wish the guy well. how can you not love a guy that just says yes to a fight without even knowing who or what weight class.

Look, I don’t hate Bisping, I’m just not a fan of him. The problem I have is with everyone saying how great he is when he hasn’t even fought a top ten fighter at any weight (maybe Evans, but he lost and that’s a big maybe). I’ll give him more respect once he beats a good fighter. Even if he beats Leben it doesn’t really prove a tremendous amount to me because Leben hasn’t beaten any top tier guys either. It’s a good fight to see which one of them should get a chance at a top opponent next however. Kind of a stepping stone for 2 promising semi young talented fighters. I would love to see the winner get a shot at one of the following guys: Marquardt, Quarry, Okami (when he loses to Silva), Henderson ,or Franklin. Those guys are some of the best in the division and that would prove something to fight with those guys. Until then Bisping is just a middle of the road up and comer.
I would vote for Ross Pointon if he was a citizen.I think he’s down to WW now.Kind of had a harder transition than Kenflo did to find himself. I don’t hate the count I just dont think you could even trust him with your beer.
