    WTF ??????
Did he panic again or what ?

ahhh man this sucks…i wanted to see him in the cage again…

  • DaCow said:

Noooooo! Yoshida was supposed to make his mark on the division tomorrow!

    Cold….but kind of funny…

I’d have to say karo got cold feet . he must have read yoshida’s comments on how he thought his judo was superior to karo’s and he realized it was true .it would have been a devstating loss right now for him . one that he may never get back into contention for a title ever again . facing that possability was too much and the attacks set in again .I like karo and was looking forward to the results …… and it resulted in a similair ending to when he was to face hughes .

  • Dr Doom said:

looks like UFC is losing alot of fights now ….. thiago silva is injured and wont be facing machida at ufc 89 . Wonder why all these guys are backing out of their fights ? The reports are of injuries but thats alot of key injuries . Hm wonder if the UFC is guilty of false promises ….. “hey we got these killer cards you’re gonna talk bout right up until they happen then we cancel half the bouts” . Now the card has declined in quality but we sure did get excited didnt we ?

  • DaCow said:

He’s never been able to win the big fight…and this one wasn’t going to be any different. It just slows Yoshida’s climb to to the top, which makes me more mad than anything. I like Karo, i’ve always rooted for him…but an injury, a day before the fight?? Most fighters don’t do any contact a day before the fight…correct??

  • Dietrich said:

    Anybody onsite in ATL?
Anybody in the know about WEC next week?

  • DaCow said:

I never heard that Thiago Silva was hurt… that kinda sucks. Machida and Silva are my two favorite fighters, so i didn’t really like the match-up anyway…but it definately was going to be exciting.

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

i didnt know about silva either…any idea who is replacement will be!??!
and what fight will replace karo’s on the televised card!?!!?!?

  • DaCow said:

I hope Dong Hyun Kim vs Matt Brown makes it on air now.

And nobody will probably replace Silva…nobody wants to fight Machida.

  • rutdog said:

Read all about Thiago Silva’s injury at mmaweekly.com. Machida deserves a good opponent, but there’s no idea who would replace Silva. Noone wants to fight Lyoto.

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

they should ask stephan bonnar…he won 2 strait..and i think he would take the fight!!!

  • JOHNBOY said:

no way these guys train to hard all they do is get injered, maybe rampage will step up and kick his ass (machida)

  • Cole Miller said:

rampage is gunna be fightin wanderlei…I say we throw guyborg in against machida…anybody with me?

  • jazzkok said:

DUDE HOLY $HIT!!! WTF!! I hella wanted to see this fight. Judo vs Judo. This is crazy He probably had a panic attack LOL

  • jazzkok said:

Holy $hit!!! Where do you guys read thiago silva was injured??? fu%%$K!!! Thiago was gonna kick his ass, i can’t stand Machida!!! DAMN!!! who do you gusy think is gonna get machida??? DUDE!!! ALL THESE FIGHTERS GETTING INJURED IS MESSING ALL THES KOOL CARDS UP!!!

  • Dietrich said:

2 injuries man I thought all the rain was outside…

  • Dr Doom said:

I thought rampage was fightinng rua next ? Where did wand vs rampage come in ?

  • Real Dude said:

Karo chickened out of that fight. I bet had another “panic attack” and he said to him self that he is going to be TKO’d again.

I really dislike Karo, he is a ****y **** and talks a lot of crap. He said that he was going to beat Yoshida and send him back to Japan, Sure he will.

  • Cole Miller said:

MMARated.com has learned that a light heavyweight bout between Wanderlei Silva and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been offered to both fighters for UFC 91 on November 15th and is very close to being finalized.

The addition of Silva vs. Jackson to a UFC 91 card that is already headlined by Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar for the UFC heavyweight title would put this pay-per-view in position to be the highest-grossing PPV in UFC history. Currently, UFC 66 holds that distinction since that event - headlined by a rematch between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz - grossed $5,397,300 in live gate revenue and just over a million in pay-per-view buys.

This would be the third meeting between Silva and Jackson. “The Axe Murderer” holds two wins over Jackson while they were members of the PRIDE Fighting Championships in 2003 and 2004.

    COUGH COUGH PU$$Y COUGH COUGH

  • Cole Miller said:

I’d rather see pellegrino vs tavares than brown vs hong dong kim….

  • DolfanG said:

How about that… poor little Karo is hurt again… who would have thought such a thing possible… The fact that he’s not fighting will save him the trouble of whinning about why he lost… he’s just a little punk with a big mouth.

  • DolfanG said:

I have to admit thought that his fight with Sanchez was really entertaining especially at the end when he caught Diego’s knee with his chin and his tooth came flying out… priceless.

  • Cole Miller said:

lol dolfang…anyone know where I can see that fight again on the internet?? one of my favorite fights definately

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

yea karo is a punk…ever since the tuf season that produced nate diaz…remember when he tried punking nate…karo thought he was the $h1t…just because he had like 30 freaken pounds on him!!!!! man the guy is a jerk…i couldn’t stand the way he was acting during that episode…i just wish someone will come along and really beat the crap out of him to bring him down off of his high horse!!!!!!!!!

  • YZFOXRACING said:

HIM AND HIS G@Y COUSIN MANNY IM GLAD HE GOT DROPPED BY EMERSON… OH AND RHYMSESKILL FYI IT WAS SEASON 5

  • jazzkok said:

    YZFOXRACING,DOLFANG,RHYMESKILL15

Dudes…haha i couldn’t agree more. This dude who put war machine to sleep looked like he was going to kick karo’s ass dude. I too can’t stand his punk a$$ since he tried to punk nate diaz. He thought he was the $hit on that show.

    None the less, still disapointed.

  • jazzkok said:

Dudes seriously though, who if anyone is going to replace my boy thiago silva? Anyone know?

  • Dr Doom said:

Thatt would be cool ……. wandy vs jackson .sucks that jackson doesnt get a return match with forrest gump ..er ..I mean Griffin but thats the UFC . that still doesnt answer my question about Rua . is he not fighting in December anymore ? i think he should fight someone along the lines of stephen bonner or what about bringing in a few of the WEC guys like brian stann or doug marshal to fight . marshal would be a nice warm up fight coming back into it. Rua might have had a bad start inthe UFC but he is a true warrior and will be kicking everyones ass soon . Dont forget this guy is still young and yet he has become a huge name .Shogun WILL be the champ by the year 2010

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

    JAZZ…WHAT ABOUT BONNAR???!?!?!?!

  • YZFOXRACING said:

I ACTUALLY LIKE THAT BONNAR/MACHIDA MATCH UP

  • jazzkok said:

Yeah bonnar’s been out of action for a while and he’s not a bad matchup for machida, but machida is supossedly a “top contender” in the lhw division, so i’m not sure it will make sense.

But i mean i wouldn’t care as long as someone kicks machidas ass, i’m serious dude i can’t stand that dude!

  • DaCow said:

basically everyone in the LHW division has a scheduled fight besides Bonnar. It’s not going to be a top level fight like they wanted…but that’s all that’s left. It’s not a good fight for Machida either, because if he wins, it does nothing for his rep…if he loses (which is virtually impossible), ruins his credability….

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

cow…bonnar isn’t a nobody…he was on a winning streak b4 he ran in2 problems…if he gets bak on his feet he could make some noise!!!

  • DolfanG said:

I don’t think Rhino will be a factor in the UFC even as a warm-up fight for somebody. They made Franklin move up to 205 because he lost to Silva twice. If they are willing to do that to champion like Franklin, why would they be interested at all in a guy like Rhino that really hasn’t even reached journeyman status yet? Rhino will have to drop down in weight divisions, maybe to 170, in order to compete in the UFC.

  • DolfanG said:

I would like to see a rematch between Rampage and Griffin, but not right away. There are other guys that deserve a chance to fight for the championship too. And if they hold off on the rematch and allow Forrest and Quinton to both fight and win a couple of more fights each, it would generate much more interest in the rematch.

  • DolfanG said:

Back to this little punk, Karo… He’s such an idiot that when he was acting like he was the Babe Ruth of MMA with Nate Diaz, he thought he was punking Nate… The only one he punked was Karo. And then there’s Manny (Mini-me… Manny-me)… My cousin Karo this… my cousin Karo that… grow up and be your own man, Manny. He reminds me of that little dog in the Sylvester and Twitty cartoons that runs around in circles around Butch the bulldog… What do you want to do now, Butch?… huh?… Ya want to go chase some cats?… huh, Butch?… Do ya?… Huh?…

  • DolfanG said:

I’m not that much of a Punk Parisyan fan… sorry…

  • DolfanG said:

Silva vs. Jackson at UFC91 hasn’t been announced yet, has it? That card is already loaded enough with Lesnar vs. Couture. I wonder why they would offer Silva vs. Jackson on a PPV card that is already big enough. It seems like that fight could really bolster up a weaker card and might even be a head-liner on a new fight card. I wonder what they’ll do here…

  • kouch said:

    Kris,

Why did my post get deleted?

  • timcat said:

Your supposed to train hard in the first 5 weeks. Take it easy the last week. WTF

  • Dietrich said:

Karo is rapidly losing all cred in the UFC. His next win will probably have to be highlight reel or he is back to free cards.

  • Dietrich said:

I like Manny better.I wonder how Faber would handle him at 145?
