MONTREAL , CANADA, April 12th 2008 â€“ Great news for Canadian MMA fans today as TKO announces the resigning of the greatest champion in the history of the organization, Mark Hominick for a long term deal! Hominick began his career in TKO and has fought a total of 15 times for the company. He is a two time TKO Featherweight Champion and has successfully defended his title seven times – Hominick was involved in a total of 10 TKO championship bouts! “The Machine” also fought twice in the UFC, winning on both occasions. Montreal fans have seen the best of Hominick and are always very appreciative of his electrifying and aggressive fighting style. The resigning of Hominick also solidifies the depth of TKO’s featherweight division and promises TKO fans many more high profile and exciting fights to come. Hominick’s return to TKO is scheduled for October of 2008, in the meantime “The Machine” will be involved in a main-event fight on a minor canadian show and should make his debut will the newly formed “Affliction” MMA promotion in July.
