Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is ready to return to the Octagon just months after undergoing surgery for diverticulitis and said Thursday that he’s 100% healthy and motivated to reclaim the UFC title.
“I feel like a new man – great, healthy, strong. I feel like I used to feel,” Lesnar said in a video released by Fusion Ammo after declaring ‘I’m back!”.
“Right now it’s one day at a time for me,” Lesnar continued. “I believe there’s still a bright future in the UFC for me. My health is 100-percent. I feel great. My motivation is there. I want to get on the map again and become the UFC heavyweight champion again and I believe I will do that.”
Lesnar’s return has not yet been scheduled, but he is rumored to return as early as UFC 140 on December 10 in Toronto, which doesn’t yet have a main event as every current champion is already scheduled to defend their title between now and November.
