Josh Neer vs. Keith Wisniewski Targeted for UFC on Versus 6 Fight Card

UFC veteran Josh Neer and one-time UFC fighter Keith Wisniewski are expected to return to the Octagon to meet in a welterweight matchup on the preliminary card of UFC on Versus 6 on October 1 in Washington, D.C., according to MMAjunkie.

Neer (31-10-1) has won six of seven since being cut by the UFC after back-to-back losses in 2007, losing only to Bellator champ Eddie Alvarez while topping Strikeforce vet Jesse Finney and WEC vet Blas Avena. “The Dentist” holds notable wins over Mac Danzig, Din Thomas, Melvin Guillard, and Joe Stevenson.

Wisniewski (28-12-1) earned wins over UFC vets Chris Wilson and Pete Spratt on his current six-fight winning streak, which followed five-straight losses that started with a UFC 56 defeat to Nick Thompson in 2005.

UFC on Versus 6 is headlined by bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz vs. Demetrious Johnson and also includes Charlie Brenneman vs. Anthony JohnsonPat Barry vs. Stefan Struve, and Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman.
