Sam Stout Withdraws from UFC 137 Fight with Dennis Siver

Sam StoutSam Stout has withdrawn from his UFC 137 matchup with fellow lightweight Dennis Siver following the recent death of his longtime trainer and brother-in-law Shawn Tompkins, though the reason for his withdrawal is currently unknown, according to MMAjunkie.

A search is now underway to find a replacement to face Siver at the Oct. 27 event in a fight that is expected to be featured on the pay-per-view main card or UFC 137 prelims on Spike.

UFC 137 is headlined by welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre vs. Nick Diaz, while the UFC 137 fight card also includes BJ Penn vs. Carlos Condit, Matt Mitrione vs. Cheick Kongo, and Mirko Cro Cop vs. Roy Nelson.
