UFC 135 Main Card, UFC 135 Prelims on Spike Set for Sept. 24

Jon JonesUFC 135’s pay-per-view main card and Spike-televised preliminary bouts are set for the September 24 event in Denver, Colorado, which is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Jon Jones and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

Joining Jones and Jackson on UFC 135’s main card will be Matt Hughes vs. Diego Sanchez, Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton, Nate Diaz vs. Takanori Gomi, and Mark Hunt vs. Ben Rothwell.

UFC 135’s “UFC Prelims” special on Spike will feature middleweights Nick Ring vs. Tim Boetsch and The Ultimate Fighter 13 winner Tony Ferguson vs. fellow lightweight Aaron Riley, according to MMAjunkie.

That leaves James Te-Huna vs. Ricardo Romero, Cole Escovedo vs. Takeya Mizugaki, and Damacio Page vs. Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto on the UFC 135 prelims expected to stream on Facebook. Featherweight Diego Nunes recently confirmed his exit from the UFC 135 fight card for a likely fight with Manny Gamburyan in December.
