UFC 137 Main Card Set for “St-Pierre vs. Diaz” on Oct. 29

Georges St-PierreUFC 137’s pay-per-view main card is set with five fights from the October 29 event in Las Vegas, including a headlining title fight between welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz.

The addition of UFC 137’s co-main event between welterweights BJ Penn and Carlos Condit recently completed the main card, which also features heavyweights Matt Mitrione vs. Cheick Kongo and Mirko Cro Cop vs. Roy Nelson as well as featherweights Hatsu Hioki vs. George Roop.

UFC 137’s preliminary card is topped by Dennis Siver vs. Donald Cerrone and Bart Palaszewski vs. Tyson Griffin, which are expected to air on Spike TV. The rest of the prelims will likely stream on Facebook, including Tim Credeur vs. Brad Tavares, Jeff Curran vs. Scott Jorgensen, Brandon Vera vs. Eliot Marshall, and Ramsey Nijem vs. Danny Downes.

A “UFC Primetime” series previewing St-Pierre vs. Diaz is slated to air on Spike in the weeks before the event.
