Fresh off his first UFC win earlier this month, The Ultimate Fighter 13’s Justin Edwards has replaced injured welterweight James Head on the UFC 138 fight card against newcomer John Maguire, who himself replaced an injured Mark Scanlon on the Nov. 5 event in Birmingham, England less than one week ago.
Edwards (7-1) earned a unanimous decision over Jorge Lopez at UFC Fight Night 25 on Sept. 17 to rebound from a split decision loss to Clay Harvison at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale in June, while England’s Maguire (16-3) has won his last five fights, including a notable win over TUF 9′s Dean Amasinger, to push his record to 16-3.
UFC 138 airs via tape-delay on Spike TV and is headlined by the first five-round non-title fight between middleweights Chris Leben and Mark Munoz.
