A pair of welterweight matchups have been added to the UFC 143 fight card, as Matt Brown will face Chris Cope and Justin Edwards will take on Mike Stumpf at the February 3 event in Las Vegas, the UFC announced Friday.

Brown (12-11), a castmember on The Ultimate Fighter 7, has lost four of his last five after following up a win over John Howard with a submission loss to Seth Baczynski, while TUF 13’s Cope (5-2) debuted with a win over Chuck O’Neil before being knocked out by Che Mills in just 40-seconds.

Edwards (7-2), another TUF 13 castmember, dropped a unanimous decision to John Maguire at UFC 138 to fall to 1-2 inside the Octagon, while Stumpf (11-3) made his UFC debut on short notice with a first-round submission loss to T.J. Waldburger.

UFC 143 is headlined by an interim welterweight title fight between Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz and also includes Josh Koscheck vs. Mike Pierce and Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum.
