Fabricio Camoes Steps In to Fight Reza Madadi at UFC on FX 1

Fabricio CamoesFabricio Camoes has replaced injured lightweight Rafaello Oliveira and will return to the Octagon against newcomer Reza Madadi at UFC on FX 1 on January 20 in Nashville, Tennessee, reported today.

Camoes (13-6-1) was dropped by the UFC following a draw to Caol Uno and loss to Kurt Pellegrino, but has since won back-to-back fight, including a May win over The Ultimate Fighter 8 winner Efrain Escudero. Madadi (11-2) has won six in a row, including wins over notables Junie Browning, Carlos Prater, and Rich Clementi.

UFC on FX 1 is headlined by lightweights Melvin Guillard and Jim Miller and also features heavyweights Pat Barry vs. Christian Morecraft and welterweights Duane “Bang” Ludwig vs. Josh Neer.
