A heavyweight matchup between Octagon newcomers Oli Thompson and Shawn Jordan has been added to UFC on FX 2 on March 3 in Sydney, Australia, according to MMAjunkie.
Thompson (9-2), a former strongman competitor, has won his last five fights in his native England and was scheduled to debut in November before being injured, while Jordan (12-3), a former LSU football player, is a Bellator veteran who most-recently went 1-1 in Strikeforce including a submission of Lavar Johnson in September.
UFC on FX 2, which airs live in the U.S. on Friday, March 2, is headlined by welterweights Thiago Alves and Martin Kampmann and also features flyweights Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall and Joseph Benavidez vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani.
