Ross Pearson vs. Dennis Siver Not Slated for UFC on Fuel TV 2

Featherweight Ross Pearson hasn’t been offered a rematch with Dennis Siver for UFC on Fuel TV 2, but The Ultimate Fighter 9 winner still hopes to fight at the April 14 event in Stockhold, Sweden.

“To put it straight iv not signed a fight with Siver, I know nothing about it, but I would love to fight in Sweden whoever it will be!!,” Pearson wrote on Twitter.

Pearson earned a unanimous decision over Siver in their first meeting in early 2010 and a potential rematch between the former lightweights was first reported on Wednesday after Siver recently announced plans to drop to 145-pounds.

Siver (19-8) won his next four fights before losing by first-round submission to Donald Cerrone at UFC 137 in October, while Pearson (13-5) made his featherweight debut with a decision win over Raphael Assuncao last month at UFC 141 after losing 2 of his last 3 fights.

UFC on Fuel TV 2 is headlined by light heavyweight contenders Alexander Gustafsson vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
