Chris Lytle comes up short in Indiana Senate Bid

Retired UFC fan favorite Chris Lytle (Rep.) came up short in his run for the Indiana Senate. Lytle lost out to Mike Crider by 11% of the vote.

Lytle became a quick MMA fan favorite due to his exciting fights and well-rounded skill set during his last run with the UFC.

Lytle launched his campaign a month after his successful retirement fight against Dan Hardy. Lytle has not announced any immediate plans for his future.

Lytle ran on a Republican based platform founded on job creation, education, gun rights, illegal immigration, term limits, and other issues.
