Joey Beltran is on his way back to the UFC after a successful debut at light heavyweight in April. Beltran will square off against James Te Huna at “UFC on Fuel TV 4.” The UFC announced the change on Monday.
Beltran was released from the UFC following a January loss to Lavar Johnson. Beltran then dropped to light heavyweight, where he defeated Anton Talamante in April. Beltran jumped at the opportunity to fill in for his Alliance MMA teammate Brandon Vera and will be looking for his first UFC win since UFC 131.
UFC on Fuel TV 4 takes place July 11 in San Jose, California. The event will be headlined by a bout between Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman.
