After saying last year that he would come to the octagon once he was ready, it would seem the time has come for Jimi Manuwa. The undefeated prospect has officially signed to the UFC. While no opponent has been named, “The Poster Boy” will be making his debut on September 29 at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England.
A muay Thai wrecking machine, Manuwa makes his promotional debut with a perfect 11-0 record with all wins coming by stoppage. The Ultimate Challenge Light Heavyweight Champion was last seen in action in December, when he made his Bamma debut by kneeing Anthony Rea into retirement after five minutes. The hot prospect will now look to make a name for himself amongst the elite in the UFC’s 205 lb division and try to prove that he has become a top fighter in his four short years in the sport.
