UFC 152 Medical Suspensions

The medical suspensions for this passed weekend’s UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort have been released. Five fighters, including UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones have found themselves suspended indefinitely.

Jones, who survived an armbar from Vitor Belfort to go on and submit the Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt with kimura, is out until a physician clears him with an X-ray of his right arm.

Roger Hollet, who was thrashed by Matt Hamill for 15 minutes, must provide an X-ray of his left hand due to a possible break. Charles Oliveira, who ostensibly came into the bout with a knee injury, must provide an MRI of the ailing leg and CT scan for a brutal knockout at the hands of Cub Swanson. Welterweights Simeon Thoresen and Charlie Brenneman must both provide MRIs following their losses to Seth Baczynski and Kyle Noke, respectively.
