Bellator 74 Weigh-In Results: Welterweight Tournament Set

Bellator will return to action live from New Jersey at Caesar’s Atlantic City for Bellator 74. The event will be headlined by the opening round of the welterweight tournament, with the winner getting $100,000 and a shot at champion Ben Askren. The tournament was finalized today as all fighters made weight for the MTV2 aired card.
One item of note, fighter Jeff Smith failed his medicals prior to the weigh-ins and replacement Matt McCook was still en route during weigh-ins. McCook will weigh-in tonight for a bout with Alexandre “Popo” Bezerra. Terms of the bout have not been announced as of this post, so it is unclear what the weight requirement will be.
