After scoring a major upset over perennial top bantamweight and former WEC champion Miguel Torres at World Series of Fighting’s debut event, Marlon Moraes is now slated to meet Tyson Nam in a promising tilt at the promotion’s next event.
Moraes (9-4) is currently riding a three-fight win-streak. Prior to scoring the split decision upset over Miguel Torres, The Armory product put down Bellator veteran Jarrod Card in the XFC cage. The heavy-handed Brazilian will now welcome Tyson Nam to the promotion.
Nam (12-4) is no stranger to upsets, having recently knocked out Bellator’s bantamweight weight king Eduardo Dantas in Brazil this passed August. The Hawaiian currently rides a four-fight win-streak and will look to continue his rise up the 135 lb. ranks.
