An injury to Roger Hollet has forced a late change to the UFC on FX 7 fight card. The Canadian fighter has reportedly suffered a torn bicep and will be replaced by UFC newcomer Ildemar Alcantara against Wagner Prado. Brazilian site SporTV.com first reported the change in the lineup.
Alcantara comes to the UFC as the reigning Jungle Fight middleweight champion and younger brother of UFC veteran Yuri Alcantara. The Brazilian has won his last seven fights.
Wagner Prado will be in search of his first UFC victory when takes on Alcantara. Prado was dominated by Phil Davis at UFC 153 this past October.
The four-fight main card will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Vitor Belfort and Michael Bisping. The bill will take place January 19. The trip to Brazil will mark the second straight year the UFC has kicked off their calendar in Brazil after UFC 142 last year.
