“Tiger” Sarnavskiy Out of Tournament, Jason Fischer Steps In to Meet Dave Rickels at Bellator 91

RickelsOne of the early favorites to win the season eight iteration of the Bellator Lightweight Tournament, Alexander¬†Sarnavskiy now finds himself watching from the sidelines. “Tiger” has, unfortunately, broken his hand, opening the door for Jason Fischer to step in and face Dave Rickels in the semifinals at Bellator 91.

Fischer (6-1) comes into the bout riding a 3-1 run inside the Bellator cage. “The Finisher” now gets a chance to undo the lone blemish on his professional record as he meets Dave Rickels for a second time. The Mash Fight Team product most recently notched a victory over¬†Sevak Magakian at Bellator 87.

Rickels (12-1) defeated Lloyd Woodard at the aforementioned event to advance to semifinals, pushing his promotional record to an impressive 6-1. “The Caveman” now looks to replicate his success against Fischer en route to the finals.

Bellator 91 takes place February 28 at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
