An undisclosed injury has seen Mitch Gagnon pull out of his UFC 158 bout with Issei Tamura. The Canadian will be replaced by TUF 14 finalist T.J. Dillashaw, the two bantamweights will meet on the Facebook preliminary portion of the card.
Tamura (7-3) is 1-1 inside the eight-sided cage. The Japanese fighter is coming off of a loss to Raphael Assuncao at UFC on Fuel TV 4. The defeat followed a crushing knockout victory over Tiequan Zhang at UFC 144, in front of his home crowd.
Dillashaw (6-1) is riding back-to-back wins. The Alpha Male product most recently submitted Vaughan Lee at UFC on Fuel TV 4. The TUF finalist rebounded from his finals loss to John Dodson with a unanimous decision victory over Walel Watson at UFC on Fuel TV 1.
